Campuses

There are six central sector Indian Institutes of Handloom Technology (IIHTs) located across India. These institutes are under the administrative control of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. Here are the locations of the six central sector IIHTs: Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh Salem, Tamil Nadu Guwahati, Assam Jodhpur, Rajasthan Bargarh, Odisha Fulia, West Bengal These institutes offer various courses related to handloom technology, including designing, dyeing, weaving, printing, and finishing of handloom fabrics. They aim to provide skilled manpower for the handloom industry and contribute to its growth and development.
